Supposedly, she isn't the "athletic" type as she is a biologist who stayed most of the time in a lab, things changed and she started to exercise and be in shape after 6 years of imprisonment. You could say she is trying to adapt her new "lifestyle?" And struggling because of it as well, idk, that sounds good to me.
