​@@TeamJellayeah I mean when you stop to consider that Manticore is basically an advanced Nova 6 The Ghosts from Ghost are basically referenced in MW2/3 now given Task Force 141 all have their own ghost masks and in Vanguard we see the different Task forces and their callsigns The advancement of exo suits from AW, BO3 and IW Mephestopheles is practically an Elder God The Chaos story is referenced in Vanguard The EM1 from AW has a prototype in Vanguard And so much more, yeah I would venture to guess each game is connected both in campaign and zombies, albeit with a lot of retcons now.

Yes, Chaos could in theory have a continuation, though it'll probably just be small subtle things here and there. I mean the Dark Aether story in Vanguard was closer to the chaos story than the origional Aether story given all the gods and stuff.

@goargespatton410 Soap is in zombies because Laswell was handpicked by someone higher up in the US Government. A lot of theories suggest it was Richtofen because his name is redacted in a similar way than it was in Cold War, but that hasn't been proved yet. Laswell obviously is familiar with Soap and his skills, so she had him join the mission. Fun bonus fact, Laswell has given soap execute authority on Ravenov in case he does anything they deem harmful to the mission, but it seems Ravenov and Soap have formed a bit of a friendship

Maxis is in the Dark Aether still, the game will likely be about trying (and failing like Ravenov said in MWZ) to save Samantha. Director Rictoffen will definitely have his own nefarious plans outside of Requiem.

bro covered vangaurd zombies. yeah with the...crystal head creatures and their baby who may actually be richtofen's kid but not really, that also forced chaos into the story, whcih, say what you will with them being "different versions of the characters" vangaurd is SO off on its own thing with its broken development you can barely consider it canon, as even then nothing shows how it connects to die machine and cold war, thankfully nothing too big of note happened...unless you count whatever actual story being unfinished cause the development was a rushed hot mistake, cause they had to drop whatever was planned on their original roadmap to put in shi no numa and remake another map into a roundbased map cause people wanted roundbased so much and they should have never given us these objective based maps and always online servers, we know vangaurd zombies was a literal last minute addition so its easy to see they want to ditch that story and those characters. thankfully.
