Given how his character behaves in the comics, I didn't expect to like M'Baku much. Once he yeilded in the Challenge though, I knew that the writers were taking him in a different direction, and when he turned up for that final fight, he became one of my favorites. I was glad to see him in the sequel.

Black Panther should be heavily credited to Jack Kirby artist and writer. He was the originator of Captain America, Thor, Fantastic 4, Black Panther, and a large part of the architecture of the Marvel Uni…the artists always get screwed!

Fulani tribe? Oh this is so cool to watch with you, Benin? I didn’t know who any of these peoples were the first time I watched this. This is going to be a completely different experience after studying with the Omenana defenders for …I lost count. More than a year, less than 2. I discovered your channel probably a year before I began studying/ cultural exchange between Israelite families. It’s actually the most important thing I am doing with my life. Then I noticed your name resembled Igbo names. And that’s when I started babbling about Igbo Israelites in your general direction. You mentioned your mother…..it’s really just coincidence. But so cool!

Igbo is tonal and I cannot learn it myself. But Igbo people can learn Hebrew more easily. Hebrew is definitely easier to learn….well…I’m biased. I learned it as a second language but from age 4 or so…. But tonal means you need a teacher,…not just a book. Ok. I’ll watch the actual movie. I DO that too.

3:31 Ryan Coogler confirmed that what they're working on there is a plan to break Erik/Killmonger/N'Jadaka's mother out of prison. We don't know why she's in prison but we're led to believe that it was either a case of her being in the wrong place at the wrong time or that it was for something minor that got blown out of proportion, either way it fits in with what N'Jobu said about "they are overly policed and incarcerated". As he was never able to break her out she died in prison shortly afterwards and their son I guess was put into foster care.

Visually, the film was amazing. Solid performances all around. The story, though, was rather weak and predictable. After 15 minutes, you knew what was going to happen. You knew how it would end. There were no surprises - only action-packed scenes.

It's a movie that has lots of CGI special effects and lots of loud noises and fights and crashes. It all looks and sounds completely fake. It's indefensibly ridiculous.
