I walked off the plantation in 2016. I actually voted for Trump for the exact same reasons. I voted for Obama. Only I feel like I got some return on my vote with Trump. It’s hard to shake off those mental chains. It’s hard to go against the grain. But it’s necessary for change. Once you actually start seeing the live for what it is. Once you start seeing the decades and decades of conditioning that’s happening. Once you start seeing that stuff, you can’t not see it. You can’t go back.

I am a news/political junkie. My son grew up listening to Rush Limbaugh. He is 33 now and conservative. Your child will soak it up.

Same here. I grew up in the 80s and my parents are total opposites politically. My dad is a JFK democrat (by today’s standards he’s a right leaning moderate) and my mom is a VERY conservative republican. They made a pact early on in their marriage to avoid talking about politics with each other so my mom would listen to Rush in the car. Kids totally soak it up. I’m extremely conservative myself. I did have an aneurysm in my 30s and went looney lefty and voted for Obama twice. I started waking up in 2015 and refused to vote for Hillary or Trump. I started to vote for Trump but at the time it was only as a vote against Hillary so I decided that it’s dumb to vote AGAINST someone rather than vote FOR someone. So I left it blank and voted for all the local stuff on my ballot instead. I did the same with our governor later as well. By 2018 I was not on the Trump train yet but I did join #WalkAway. In 2019 I got on board the Trump train and I haven’t gotten off. I’m actually wearing a Trump shirt as I’m typing this lol.

Dude that was a great question. So seeing the world as it is, means not engaging in trying things just for the purpose of trying things. It means reality vs what you want the world to be. This means addressing today's problems and not imagining problems that may not materialize. Spend your money, time and attention on real issues you can address.

Seeing the world as it is to me means acknowledging where we are at. Acknowledging who we are as people in the world and the real issues. Like acknowledging that we have something good in our country and while we want to share it we can’t have open borders Because we have to acknowledge that other countries don’t have the same values morals and laws. That doesn’t mean the CANT come but it does mean we need to work with them to understand what their new homes values and laws are.

It doesn’t matter how we each see the world, the world is as it is. There are facts that don’t change no matter how we look at them

Speaking for myself, I agree 100% with his "seeing the world as it is" statement. As a believer in Jesus, I do what He says and recognize a tree by it's fruit. I would also like to add that in case people forgot, God works in the agricultural sense. You know like, growing, harvesting, and reaping and so on and so on. Well, you would have to see the world "as it is" in order to plant or grow anything, right? Or do I have it wrong?

Banks and corporations mostly transfer money around and don’t actually create anything useful. Industry that creates real products within our country for our country is necessary. Independent sustainability should come first.

The way I see it, you can not look others in the eye if you think you’re above them - we need to stand arm and arm if we want a future for this country. Please vote for Trump. ❤

All forms of governments have flaws. Some governments, if managed openly and following their stated tenets are the citizens have a voice and redress. It may take years, it may take the people to join together and push back, but bad laws can be changed and fair treatment can be achieved. Some that are ruled by fiat can change their dictates on a whim, as there is only one voice or one group that matters. In this government, the people are not citizens, they are chattel. They have no chance at redress, except by rare and bloody means.

Seeing the world as it is, is dealing with your reality. Not everyone has the same life. However, these politicians make rules that affect our lives because they don't live in reality. Not the demon-crats anyway.

The person on the video is the honorable Steven Harper! He was the Prime Minister of Canada before Justin Trudeau was elected and Canada has fallen ever since!

You interrupted as he was explaining "seeing the world as it is" as opposed to applying "theories". (Didn't catch the entire quote)

I enjoy how you look at both sides of the spectrum. im a conservative through and through, but i see the value in liberals. not the leftists though. the ones pushing transgenderism to children. liberals dont do that. theyre just liberals. theyre patriotic and love our country too. its hard to find true liberals these days though

to me; seeing the world as it is. first you have to look. and then ask yourself a few questions. am i doing better today than yesterday, do i have the opportunity to do better, can i have what i can t afford, no one owes me a living and i have to balance my bank account so i expect the same from government. are their jobs , housing and affordable food options and if not why not. why are the farms being attacked; chicken flu, cow farts, turning off the water to farms...what are we supposed to eat? where are we supposed to live, how much can my bank get into my personal business? why cant we have cheap energy when we are sitting on the largest reserves on the planet, why is gas so expensive. why do illegals get supported and citizens ignored, why are we paying taxes? for what? why has the supply chain been deliberately destroyed, why is the education system failing, why is the justice system more unequal than ever, why do the courts have the power to shut down legislation from our elected representatives? why does funding a foreign war suddenly release all this money to a foreign land ? with the amount of money spent overseas every single american could be housed. just why? why are all the things i used to enjoy now shit like sports and media entertainment? why are the press such two faced liars? why are da's so easily bought off? how can someone who doesnt live in your community or state get to run for election in your jurisdiction? why are some police communities so willing to just goose step along ignoring the law? the usa is being dismantled imo.
