Hi, great video(s). I enjoy them as it motivates me to keep on learning and it's fun to see the reactions. There's one statement you made in this video which I fully agree to: Learning tones. I'm a German guy who can't say that he's studying Thai but I want to improve it to get to a conversational level. Before travelling to Thailand I learned a few words and sentences which was quite hard because I focused on the tones pretty much. Using them and especially hearing them enabled me to use the tones better and also hearing them. Nowadays I kind of neglect learning the tones because a huge part of the tones (especially hearing and using them) comes almost by itself. Great advice from my point of view. Watching a movie can already help quite a lot as the one gets used to the tones.

@@Syn741 Which country in asia are you from? because imho in Japan's Case, that looks might indicate something around 35+ years which may seems pretty normal thing there (but it's not for us) , i'm not sure about your country honestly But in my country USA, She honestly looks like in her 20's+ for us, so technically what i said is correct that she indeed looked something like she is 24
@Syn741 Жыл бұрын
@@uhm175 i'm from singapore, plenty of asians here haha. It's her skin that gave me the 35+ look. The wrinkles in her skin and the "shine" indicates. I mean I get your perspective where you don't come across as many asians there it's hard to see the age. But the same applies to me for weaterners where I can't tell their age.
