If Top Gun changed cinematic action music forever, this is the score that made Zimmer the go-to man for delivering it. Jennifer Batten absolutely tearing it up in these alternate versions - presumably recorded in between Bad tour dates. And it seems like Steve Porcaro was handling all synth duties, presumably with whatever studio hands were around? Just great stuff, beautifully presented as ever. Thanks a lot for the work you put into these.
