It’s completely honest to say that our people have been exposed to the worst working conditions in America’s history.

I know about the 1927 flood because Mississippi is my home state, and there is a documentary, I think it's called "Killer Flood".

I've never heard this piece of history. However, we can and will preserve and teach our own history without foreigners' interference. I make a point to do this with my family. Never forget...

My Mother was 4 years of age in the year 1927, born in that state of Mississippi. My Mother never ever mention it. And the public school system here in Brooklyn, NY, never ever taught it, or briefly mentioned it at all!!!

Wow, I've never heard of this tragedy before. It's a hard fact that schools don't even scratch the surface of what happened to Black and Native people. The details are so harsh you want to think those things never really happened. I had one teacher who did go into details, and I heard things I wish I'd never known.

Brotha! The one I've been looking for is the great Galveston hurricane of 1900. Idk if its been scrubbed or what but I've been looking on yt and can't find the video that acknowledges Black people were used as levees and 10's of thousands died during this hurricane. I immed. clicked on your video thinking that's the one you were gonna speak on. Peace
