I like that deck -- it has a real feeling of stage, as though the house lights are down and the spotlight is just on the important characters and symbols. Just like Pixie, who was a set designer for the Lyceum Theatre. My fave pairing was with the first deck, not sure what it's called. I would try it with Jillian Wilde's Antiquities of Magick Oracle cuz that takes specific symbols from the RWS and gives them a witchy vibe. Thank you for sharing, Rachele.

Oh I love how you look at this. The Mantra Oracle I loved it with also, and I will try it with the Jillian Wilde's deck. This is a dramatic deck. If the borders weren’t there, it would be a cinematic journey of the tarot. This would be a good one to add to my wishlist. I always just grab and pair, but the sacred destiny paired with the deck was beautiful. 😍 thank you for sharing! ❤

I have the same feeling about RWS and the coloring. Which is why I’m not a huge fan. But this black and white, wow! I’m loving it.

I love the black and white. I'm a huge fan. I was thinking, instead of cutting the borders do you think using a marker and adding a dark color would be cool? I think either way it way be great. Definitely a trim if not I think would bring it out. Thanks for sharing, beautiful. I like this deck a lot. ❤

That is a great idea about coloring in the borders. I think I have decided to cut them down also because I just really do not like the borders on the backs either and a little bit smaller size would work well for me. I just started watching and I am hooked lol…. I don’t have a black-and-white deck yet. I am so into the RWS, it just might be my first 😅❤ and I have never modified a deck, so this might be a first for that too because I agree with you. The border is OK, but I think it would really make this deck phenomenal with the borders cut off. I agree with you, when I first started working with the RWS, I thought those were poor color choices too. Especially because I’m very drawn too certain types of artwork, and that wasn’t the RWS, lol. But now I’m really drawn to similar symbolism, so I find myself drawn to copycats. I’m Literally salivating at your first choice of pairing lol. Did you make this video for me LMAO?! I didn’t catch the second to the last Oracle name I was watching it in 2x, but honestly, that was my favorite pairing! This was an excellent walk-through thank you so much! The second to last pairing is the Phases & Forests Oracle, and I thought it looked so beautiful with it. The first pairing is the Mantra Oracle and I think I am going to end up trimming down the borders on this one. Yeah for me it was the coloring I think that threw me off on the original RWS, but this black and white version is just stunning to me. I love it! The weird thing is, the borders on the front don't bother me, but the backs really bug me.

I am definitely on the fence about the border on the front but like yourself the border on the backs I really don't like at all either. I do think I'm going to end up trimming the border off this deck! I do absolutely love the black backgrounds of this deck! It feels like when I look into that darkness there is so much that can be revealed in my psyche. Thank you so much. 😍😍😍

I wasn't sure what to think about this deck because it's just black and white, after the flip through I'm not mad at it. It looked very good with that mantra deck, I think that was the pairing I liked the most, then Sacred Destiny followed by Phases & Forests. The archetypes oracles looked good too. I appreciate but am not sold on the black and white for myself. Otherwise - definately trim those cards! Geez. I’d take off all the white to the black line and maybe a sliver more. I suppose the size helps make the artwork easier to see but I hope this isn’t a trend for bigger decks. You know I prefer that smaller tarot in a tin even over regular sized tarot cards.

P.S. I thought the last pairing was the best, and then the phases and forests, but wasn’t too keen on any of them - the line work was too modern. The (Color Visions was ok but it seems hyper modern. I think any pairing should look vintage g. The pairing that comes to mind would be Dani Mystic’s Pear Tree Court Oracle. If you don’t have that try Woodland Wardens perhaps? Or something like Botanical Inspirations.

Yeah I have to play with the pairings. I am sure I can find some more suitable ones, but I did like some of them I paired with it. Hi Rachele :) I agree with you about the borders, it's longing for a trim! is there a symbol of sulfur on each card ? the little triangle with the cross on the right corner..I don't know why my eyes kept focus on that. I really like the backs and I can see why you'd want to cut them down. Ooo that's a great fan. So interesting thought here... could you imagine reafing it with the black and how the black in each card interacts with other cards like the first one has a lot of black in the bavkground... interpretation is great for this kind of thing. Black and white isn't really big for me but there is for sure appeal to this deck. I like it better than the black and white general one.

The backs I like also, just not the border. I think I am going to cut the borders off. I really love how this one is more black dark background with white. That is definitely more appealing to me. There are other decks that just go really well with black and white also, but I think the pairings will also look better without that big white border. I know this is a weird question. Well, I have a question between you and I And wanted to know how you are able to get the decks sent you for your honest review from game systems, Llewellyn, and just others in general!? I do so many reviews like you do but not sure how to go about it. I do so many daily. Any information it would be very appreciative. But by the way, I would never cut that deck down at all or just get a second that way you have both on hand. But ty and great video.

I just simply reached out and they approved my channel to review decks that I wanted. Other ones have reached out to me asking if I would review their decks on my channel. I don't do daily videos anymore because that is not great for videos to have enough time to mature in the algorithm before your next video comes out. Daily consistency isn't necessarily good for your channel or your views. Just to let you know darling. From what I have watched from Tube Buddy videos and employees of KZbin the sweet spot is about every 3 days to release videos so that the algorithm picks them up fully. Thank you for watching. 😍
