Always wondered why they opened that tour in the US, especially as half the US shows ended up being canceled too. The UK tour opened in the bands - and my - hometown of Birmingham at the Aston Villa Leisure Center. In the pre-internet age, I missed seeing this show was happening so when we found out the tour was on we had to travel to another city - Sheffield - in the UK to see them. It was my first Sabbath show and I loved it and the band with Cozy was great. The venue was half empty though which was sad as it was a decent live show.

Hi Phil. It is great to know that you had the chance to see this line up live. I believe they thought this tour would be a great sucess, as the album is really good. but part of the tour was canceld in USA.

@@BootsBloodyBoots Yes Headless Cross and then following it with Tyr were great albums and then they decided to bin it and go back to Dio. I love Dio but I think they should have built on what they had done on HC/Tyr with Martin and Cozy. It's a shame that the Martin era songs were never played again live as that period was one my fav Sabbath live periods.

It seems Sabbath buried this guy, along with that Black and Blue live album, as BÖC seemed to have done with Les Braunstein. It's sad, but sometimes it's tough being at the level people want you to be. Both are much better singers than me, but maybe they lacked the hooks ​@@thecomputingchronicles

@@thecomputingchronicles that was because of the record company. Iommi liked the lineup with TM and Powell but the record company was telling them how it should be. This martin/ Powell lineup was not promoted by record company. Terrible. But now it's going to be real popular, as it shoulve been then
