You are reacting to one of the very best metal albums ever. Song 1 to song 8 all great. Sabbath built a masterpiece with Dio.

i just realized, that "die young" means not to die, when you're young, but stay young till you die

I'd say Neon Knights, Children of the Sea, Heaven and Hell and Die Young were the big tracks from his album.

The thing about this album is that there were no weak tracks. Yes, some of them are legendarily epic, but they’re all masterpieces.

Oh man, it’s impossible to choose from these tracks. The whole album is just awesome. Yes, that was Dio with the high vocals. Try a live version of Catch The Rainbow by Rainbow in 76 or 77 to hear his high register shine!

Definitely one of my favorite songs on the album, too - top four, I'd say, because apart from this, the title track and Children of the Sea, the last track is another favorite. I don't know why it's not as well known these days, since it was a single back in the day and it's also one of the music videos made for the album (Neon Knights was the other one). And it's still one of those tracks I'm unsure what to make of the lyrics.

Dio re-energised Black Sabbath after they gave Ozzy the boot. So lucky I got to see Dio live in 2007.

3 of the 4 Dio albums were perfect (Heaven & Hell, The Mob Rules & The Devil You Know), Dehumaniser was very good but just fell short. The live version of this song is AMAZING.

Your reactions are spot on.....so astute for a youngster 😆,......makes a refreshing change to see ........have you checked out "Long live Rock n Roll" by Rainbow.......Dio was fire on that too.

I love sabbath…. Ozzy is great.. there was never .. ever going to be another singer that would be able to equal Ozzy….. till Dio said hold my beer…. Dio is the only other one….it’s not that I like one over the other.. I like both equally.. they are just different..

All heavy metal is a derivative of Black Sabbath..other bands rocked hard… BTO.. Deep Purple..The Who.. zepplin.. but sabbath is it’s own genre
