Dude thank you so much! I can't believe the Hal Leonard book was wrong because the tabs are so dead on usually but that 2nd riff (the one you can substitute the 7-8 trill) was showing a low E & A power chord on 8/6 & I have no idea why. You really clarified that part for me, thanks!

great vid man! you should do a lesson for Behind the Wall of Sleep
@kenjones51387 жыл бұрын
Good lesson. learned this by ear, learned most Sabbath by ear. Watched a bunch of others but you're better than most. Threw me when I found out about tony's tuning. I always used the opening note of War Pigs to tune.
@paradox77436 жыл бұрын
Excellent review,knew the song but needed a brush up-love the way you explain Tony's technical nuances....

Very cool video and song too, thanks a lot, that really helped me learning some basic Sabbath. Wondered if you could do a video about God Is Dead also from Black Sabbath, I just can't find one on KZbin.

Alex great help with your videos Thanks! But there's one song that I'm having trouble with and that's VOODOO I've only seen two tabs and there not real specific on the tuning or the fingering of the frets. I've seen one video and the guy shows how to play it but you can't really see exactly were he's placing his fingers on the strings plus he plays it to fast and of course no tab of what he's doing as you do? And you can't understand him when he's telling what the tuning is? If you can help I would be very thankful! And yes I to am another Mike.. Thanks!

I cheated with one note in the solo so I never go to the 5th string for that 10th fret note; I'm just playing the open G string every time instead. It flows easily and that note is the only one on the 5th string anyway. Thanks for the video
