I posted this in another comment section but deserves to be said again. Can we all just take a minute and salute the greatness that is Geezer Butler?

I always love the way that Tony Iommie would pan his guitar solos from the left to the right speakers so it’s hitting you in both sides of the headphones at different times.

I love your take on things! Nicely done! All of Sabbath's lyrics are deep and heavy. This came out in 1971!

I got a Black Sabbath "Ozzy years" hits double cd this February and this song I instantly gravitated to. The riff, Ozzy's singing, the whole vibe is just bad ass all the way around.

Tony Iommi- his guitar sounds toxic, venomous. God bless Tony Iommi

This is the greatest song ever written by the genius Tony iommi. Nobody can bend the strings like Iommi (he even invented the superlight flex strings), and only he cold write a masterpiece like this. 1971!!!

The untold tale is no matter how far man goes to leave behind his 'sin', he inevitably brings it with him, with the ending lead showing man going to the far reaches and the reality it's here to stay.

I respect your ear listening to the details. And never apologize for your own interpretation of the song, afterall that is what music is for.

Good Review Glad you're back. More Sabbath please. 'Born Again' would be perfect for you, It's basically a blues ballad done by Sabbath at a time they were fronted by Ian Gillan (Deep Purple). They only did one album with Ian, but it's a very underrated piece of work.

Whats up cool cat. You touched on the subject of the environment in this song. You should react to black sabbath with Ronnie James Dio. The song children of the sea. It touches on the same subject but in Dio style. Killer tune. Master of reality was released in 1971. Peace out

Really well explained description of the man walking the wasteland (slaw despair) and how it is a time that is potentially upon us. Covid or without.. -- Great perspective. TRUMP comment was unnecessary.
