Hey all! How the hell are ya?
Back again with another entry into ‪@metalmartymac‬'s 600 subscriber contest where I am playing my favorite solo's from movie soundtracks, or songs that are titled after movies. This is ‪@blacksabbath‬'s "Iron Man", which shares a title with the Marvel movie. Iron Man was one of the first riffs I ever played on this guitar so it felt fitting to use it for this cover (the intro bar part was so much fun as a young guitarist).
I'd also like to give a shout out to Mark of ‪@twangersturntable‬. He has been showing his grandkids my music, and guitar videos and this was a request of theirs. He even posted a video of them watching one of my videos recently and "ridiculously cool" is an understatement. Hope ya like it buds!

Oh yeah! Consider this home impressed! Not that I wasn't in your camp long ago, but Iommi (and Sabbath in general) are grail territory for me, among only 5 or 6 that I consider untouchable. Love hearing you bang this out..flawless too! 🤘🎸🤘The kiddos are pleased as punch to hear you mentioned them in the comments. Now Aidan and William have a favourite guitarist, Mickey Maffei! They're also revisiting the guitar lessons talk which seemed to have cooled in favor of keyboards (even though I always encourage one doesn't have to be at the expense of the other...but for choosing which to practise more lol). The boys want tomdo another reaction vid, but they don't appreciate I do have to make sure they eat, bath, etc etc lol! Awesome my friend. Thank you Mickey! Cheers man! ✌️❤️🙏😇🤘🤘

Definitely man. He wrote some of the most iconic riffs, and solo lines off of simple pentatonic melodies. One of the best to ever do it!
