Such a mystical, jazzy and amazing song. Never get tired of Sabbath. I always thought this song was so timeless and yet so MASSIVELY ahead of it's time
@anghusmorgenholz10608 ай бұрын
This is the band that first played music that spoke to me. It fundamentally altered the course of my life. They gave me heavy metal. I don't want to imagine my life without it. I have learned that most people listen to music that has never touched their soul. Never speaks to the inner person. That is one of the most tragic things I've ever heard.

I watched the eclipse with this playing. I can honestly say it was a cosmic experience that I won't forget. It was as if the music itslef was telling the story of what I was seeing.

This one always helped you come back down to our home planet. Just a calming vibe we all embraced when we needed it most. Just had a scary heart surgery at 62, put this on my earbuds in recovery, and was in my warm, fuzzy, happy place. Or maybe it was the Fentanyl.😁

Hope you’re doing well! I’ve just discovered this song after my Granda picked me up the paranoid album, and it’s otherworldly! Love from Scotland 🏴

I loved this song even before I started using drugs . Decades later still love this song and grateful I survived those years.
@samiamnot89066 ай бұрын
Yeah, same. Drugs just aren't worth it. When you are tripping/high, you aren't available for those who might need you. Ultimately, it's selfish.
@David-gh6vp4 ай бұрын
Well said. Over the years. . . that became decades, I noted that theft often follows "drugs." Very selfish, indeed. In any event, this level of Music requires NO drugs, it is a drug of sorts. @@samiamnot8906

There is a two man power duo out of Isleta Pueblo in New Mexico that play a freaking amazing cover of this. The band is called Zealous Grooves. And it blew me away that two guys could do such an awesome job.

I used to live in a place where my room was a furnished attic and then there was a small door that went to the unfurnished bit which had a large fan that would blow out of a vent and help draw hot air out the house so naturally my stoner ass had a neat little hangout up there in front of that fan so all my smoke would blow out and not smell up the house. The lights were connected to the main room lights so if my partner was asleep and I couldn't I'd have to keep it dark and kept a few candles and LED battery operated lights in there, and I have a lot of fond memories of just lighting a candle, popping on my good headphones and turning this on while smoking and just watching the candle flame flicker in the breeze. I miss that place a lot, it was a neat little hangout.
