If you close your eyes, you would never know it is a "guitar cover". Absolute perfection.

Just made me remember why I love Sabbath, not particularly hard to play, but fuck.......these songs are total grinds. Awesome. Thank you 🥳

You are welcome, and thanks for checking out the vid! And you're not wrong, especially compared to the technical prowess and advanced songwriting of artists in later years, but with Iommi it's all about capturing that feel. And I think a lot of players underestimate his picking style and technique.

Rick - I have to say your work is my favorite on youtube hands down. Your videos have made me work harder on my guitar. Just finished Frankenstein, Edgar Winter and it turned out pretty decent.

Thank you, and 'deliberate' is a great word for it. Some of the fastest, most precise chord work in heavy rock. Iommi is the master! Cheers!! 🤘🏻

Thank you so much for explaining the tuning's for these songs man!!!!!....
5 ай бұрын
@@stavivanackerson6563 You're welcome! I've found quite a few slightly off tunings in many older rock and heavy metal albums. Sabbath, Priest, AC/DC, etc... apparently they didn't use tuners much back then. 😆

You would think they would have a piano in the studio eh?..... I use a CASIO keyboard myself....

It was more the habit of slightly speeding up a track at production stage to tighten it up or the opposite. DC Girls got rhythm!

Doesn't get better than that. I could listen to Sabbath all day and not get bored or tired. Can't say that about LZ. Crunchy riffs!!!
