BECOME A PATRON TO GET SONGS/TABS: www.patreon.com/coversolutions Some things to clarify on this one. There are two basses on the original studio recording. One is panned left and one in the center as usual. I tried to create a line combining what i thought was the best parts of each (and the more audible). Hopefully i made an understandable line. I mixed in the same bass with a left pan and a center (info about tone in description). Some parts were hard to hear but i think mos of it is covered. Let me know if you have any question. I'll answer. About harmony, the song uses a common blues oriented way in which most of the E Chords are played with a minor third and a major third, but you can say it's really thought of it more as E Minor, specially on the bass lines. Most of the harmony also lacks information so it creates more ambiguity. Less presence of 7ths and when you ahve them there's no 3rd. Let me know if you ahve doubts of clarification on my part.

You know, I have played bass for well over 40 years and it just SHOCKS me how precise your ear is! Every little bend, slide, and accent. Isn't the studio wizardry on this album amazing?Especially considering The idea of Geezer & Tony overdubing along with the varied channel placement of the instruments. In Iron Man, I love the stark contrast between Geezer playing with a pick and also with his fingers simultaneously.

Quick story: when I was a kid I weirdly loved Black Sabbath even though I only heard them on the classic rock radio station (like I didn't have my dad or older brother playing the songs for me or whatever). Later when I picked up the bass and started learning songs, I realized the bass parts to Black Sabbath songs (especially songs from the Paranoid album) are incredibly good and that's probably what drew me to Black Sabbath before I even knew what was going on. Geezer is one of the greats!
