I think the reason people respond to the music from these young ladies is because of their authenticity. They've obviously worked hard at their craft, put in the necessary hours to get good at it, they seem comfortable in their own skins, and they bring a " take no prisoners!" Attitude to their performances. No whining, no mumbling, no soft breathy shoegazing vocals here. If I had a couple of million bucks, I think I would pay them to play a junior high school or High School in every county in the country, just to show the younger generation what music used to be like ---- back when people took the time to learn a musical instrument and sang like their life depended on it ---- and what it can or could still be. Anyway, this is an excellent cover of a song that sadly never seems passe' and, if human history and current events are an indicator of what the future has in store for us, this song is unlikely to ever be obsolete.

Well I only did discovered these girls a few days ago, and I've already learnt that not only have they made some great stuff of their own, but they can remarkably cover classics from decades before they were born. Naturally I have seen any number of performers resurrecting old songs, but never anything like these two. So I am delighted that there's a chance to see them live in the UK in October.

Girls, you don't only do great music yourselves but you also have SUCH an amazing feel, vast knowledge and impeccable taste in music, it's just unbelievable. ANd dare I say it: I am 53 with a music obsession probably since I was born. I have been through 60ies beat plus 50ies rock'n'roll and crooner stuff (my dad's contribution ;-)) as a kid, 70ies radio pop as a late kid, hard rock, metal, punk, new wave, indie and yes, BLUES in the 80ies, then dug my way back through 70ies rock, psychedelic, swing, jazz and folk before finally opening for electronic stuff, rap, hiphop, british rave and britpop crossover and basically every other style imaginable --- so I know what I am talking about. But hey, know what? This took me my whole life and I hardly can play myself, let alone compose! I saw you in Cologne at the Luxor club last year BTW and it was every bit as good as I expected it. Please, please, please be aware that you REALLY got it all to have a major good influence and carry the flag for good music well into the 21st century! Oh and don't forget to stop by in Cologne or nearby on your next tour! Love XXX

it's amazing how far they've come when they were a country bluegrass trio known as the Lovell sisters..then the other sister got married began family life and then Rebecca and Meghan and such a young age is barely I think at a high school or still began the Larkin Poe formation..look how far they've come now just get better and better I was glad I was a subscriber long before they even started their first tours and we're just having fun posting stuff on KZbin from little local festivals in Atlanta.. congratulations on the Grammy nomination for Venom and Blues😍😍 how cool is that?

I have to say that is by far the best cover of War Pigs! With out dating myself I've heard that song at least 100 times or more (sometimes with a tiny piece of paper). You both killed it and loved haring Tony Iommi's lead played on the steel guitar! Y'all have some talent!!!

This is good and vocally better than Samantha Fish's version but overall I Iike Samantha Fish's version better than this since Samantha Fish both sings and shreds the guitar in her version.
