So when I watched the first season I kept wondering why all the names sounded familiar, found out later Black Sails is a prequel to Treasure Island. Unfortunately, that means I now know who "wins" and who dies D:

Maybe not, since the writers have already, ostensibly, killed off Billy Bones. Although we've not actually SEEN Billy die, just Flint's word, that he fell from the rigging. My guess is that they have plans to 'resurrect' Billy, unless they plan to ignore the source material from which this show is derived.

Bill Leitenberger It would be very easy to have had Billy hang onto a piece of driftwood and end up on some random island. Granted, artist liberty means that some character may die that aren't suppose to, but I think that Flint and Silver's roles are too important to change much.
