Ikr, and this movie messed him up. Spade and Farley are the only reason that this movie wasn't a total flop lol. The difference between this and Tommy boy is night and day. Tommy boy is very highly regarded and its almost like people wanna forget about black sheep. It was just too many people trying to capitalize on tommy boy. It sent Farley into a deep depression and back to rehab when he saw it in the theatre. He was always very hard on himself, but still, these assholes just trying to make a quick buck...

I wish comedies these days were as funny. I don't even like comedies nowadays cuz there's too many cringe worthy moments and overdone uncomfortable jokes. Just not funny imo. I've watched too many recent comedies where I only laugh out loud maybe once or twice throughout the whole 2 hours. That's NOT good comedy to me. Bring back these guys & Danny Kaye & Gene Wilder & so many of the classics... THOSE were "laugh out loud" comedies. 😉

Farley wasn’t that funny, he had his moments but that was it. Nothing he did was a huge hit except for Tommy Boy, everything he did after was a big flop. He was supposed to do Shrek and there was even some footage recorded of him voicing him, but it wasn’t that good. Shrek wouldn’t have been the mega hit that it was had Farley been Shrek, Mike Myers was way better
