i always wondered who tf this guy is supposed to be. like the other phases all either have lore or represent something. phase 1: the doll phase 2: the three books/three students phass 3: unis and leiden phase 4: prison used by mary sue and tco to trap souls phase 6: the embodiment of lewis's nightmare phase 7 and 8: all of wonderland but wtf is this guy's deal. did toro just add him to make the boss harder 😭

A little late,but Two Face is the representation of what Lewis saw when he saw Alice as an old lady,how his little girl was transformed in something he could not recognize.This thing is his first impression before he realized that he was seeing Alice.

I think it's supposed to be Crawling One's (Outer god that took the identity of Alice that torments us throughout both games) forgotten True form. When it fails The Grand Guignol goes back to using Lewis's worst nightmare, Alice in Marriage, to stop Grimm and his allies from finally ending Wonderland.

I love this game and this fight, but Organic Eraser Beam is just artifical difficulty, no way to sugarcoat it. At least the music is good.

I blitzed the fight with God's Angel,so I think that there is definitively a fair way to defeat the entirety of Gran Guingol

Mary Sue's soundtrack is named "Last Boss" translated from Japanese (but she is not the last boss in the secret route, right?), whilst it sounds pretty similarly to the No Face soundtrack named "Secret Boss 7". Makes no sense? That's the point! Mary Sue = Last Boss = No Face. Sounds insane? That's the point! Mary Ann = Mary Sue = Alice! You don't believe me? That's the point!
