I remember calling Metro FM (South Africa) when Talib was on an in the country. Spoke to Talib, asked him about another Black Star album. He mentioned that because of conflicting schedules and record label issues, he couldn't confirm when they'd do another album. That was around 2012. Glad they made it happen again!

The reason I like Dave, Yasiin & Talib is because despite the fame & success, they grew to be actual mature adults. When Nore is talking about how Talib could’ve took it the wrong way, implying violence, I like that Dave didn’t even let him complete the thought: the level of ego they would have to have to do something like that would impede the art they make. It was cool to see in real time.
