I did a hard rock version of this song in 1994.and the club owner told me the world isn't ready for that. We didn't work there for much longer. Cause I wouldn't change. Then in 2016 a girl from my college told me about BSC. WELL I FINALLY LISTENED TO IT THIS SUMMER. I would listen to it full blast like 20 times a day. Awesome dudes from Kentucky. Just wish they had put some more lead guitar at the end

I will tak them Tucker boys any day over anything produced my todays bands.But music is all subject to what one likes. There is no best. What is best for me is not best for you. So no way to really say what is best in music. But for me. Yeah i will take the tucker boys. I even had them play the original in a strip bar in Philly PA. No one had any idea who the band was. The DJ didnt have the song. Had to go out to the car and get the cd for him. What a night that was.

This song is the reason I fell in love with my fiance 3 years ago. lol. He asked if I had heard it and after he played it, and I obviously fell in love with it, we started talking music (which turned out to be a huge passion of both of ours.) Now we are getting married in September and this will be our first dance song! Whenever anyone asks him how we started dating, he always gives a huge contribution to Blackstone Cherry. haha. We've been to a couple concerts and Memphis in May when they were there. We will also be at Rocklahoma this May, and I promise we will be at this stage. Black Stone Cherry shows the same respect for the Marshall Tucker Band, that Corrosion of Conformity paid to Lynyrd Skynyrd.when the did the tribute of "On The Hunt". Many a classic song has been butchered by people's remakes, and them trying to rewrite the original. That's NOT a tribute. BSC and COC ARE class acts!🤘😝
