Dad was terrible. His teen daughter will obviously have to adjust to the changes in the family. On top of that he dragged a stranger in the house with no prior discussion on top of the confusion of the girl not knowing her mom is not coming back? Wth? He needs the same compassion, patience and caring he showed his new girlfriend instead of all that anger. Now for the girlfriend she understood the angst of teens but how could she move in with the man before even meeting his daughter? Annnd to sit there and tell the upset daughter this will be her house? Both adults were lacking.

Good video, but while the title and ending text were about racism, the ending dialog was more about a single dad bringing home a new girlfriend and prospective wife/stepmom. Both are complex issues to broach with teenagers, and it's almost impossible to resolve them satisfactorily in a 20-minute video. I think this video could have been more powerful by picking one of those issues and giving it a deeper treatment, or by making the video at least twice as long. I imagine that concentrating on one of those issues would be easier, but given the high quality of Vivianne's videos, I, for one, would happily watch a longer video that would better flesh out both.
