Dad was terrible. His teen daughter will obviously have to adjust to the changes in the family. On top of that he dragged a stranger in the house with no prior discussion on top of the confusion of the girl not knowing her mom is not coming back? Wth? He needs the same compassion, patience and caring he showed his new girlfriend instead of all that anger. Now for the girlfriend she understood the angst of teens but how could she move in with the man before even meeting his daughter? Annnd to sit there and tell the upset daughter this will be her house? Both adults were lacking.

I though of Leanne as 15 years old and wearing a mask over how she truly feels about her mother’s deception. A good video, however Ann was good on teaching Michael on how to respond with a 15 year old and how to take off the mask on how she truly felt.

They're humans just like us we have the same built, same body tissue, same color of blood etc the only difference is the color of our skin, as the late great Martin Luther King Jr. said: "I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character" in my country UAE we have strict laws against racism and article 6 of the law states that any person commits an act of discrimination in any form will face prison from 6 months to 10 years and/or pay the fine no less than AED 500,000 (($ 1,750,000)) and no more than AED 1000,000 (($ 3,800,000))

Another lesson don’t bring home a woman or a man that you’ve never introduced to live in your house when you have a teenage daughter ! Try to set a good example or else the next thing you know, she’ll be bringing home a boyfriend to sleep or live your house and think it’s OK. have respect for your daughter for yourself and model respectable relationship before entering into something permanent in the future that can affect your entire household

Good video, but while the title and ending text were about racism, the ending dialog was more about a single dad bringing home a new girlfriend and prospective wife/stepmom. Both are complex issues to broach with teenagers, and it's almost impossible to resolve them satisfactorily in a 20-minute video. I think this video could have been more powerful by picking one of those issues and giving it a deeper treatment, or by making the video at least twice as long. I imagine that concentrating on one of those issues would be easier, but given the high quality of Vivianne's videos, I, for one, would happily watch a longer video that would better flesh out both.
