For me prime nas is better than black thought and no one was saying black thought is better than Nas in 1996 when Nas was still hungry and trying to prove himself. Nas stopped caring about rhyming the illest and improved on his songwriting skills after illmatic. It's a shame that his I Am album leaked so he had to do other tracks and make two separate albums I Am the retail version and nastradamus. When I say Nas is better I'm comparing them at their prime. It's pointless to compare catalogue because music is subjective anyway, all I compare is skills. It's your opinion that Nas got 3 classics, that ain't a fact. Black thought is a legend and he's in my top 5, but I only judge based on skill nothing else. For me Nas, Jay-Z, Black thought, pharaohe monch, mos def are the best 5 to ever do it.
