Anytime you put conditioner, Vaseline or gel it will loosen your knots and make your hair shed. Avoid putting anything on the knots.

about five months ago I went to get a sew in and the lady that did it in Delaware did nothing nowhere near what you just done. The front kept coming up because I didn’t have much on the side so she put a lace front top right there but it kept coming up and I had to keep putting gel underneath of stay down and it was just a waste of money all together from December 20 I’ve been till March 30 I think I spent like $1400 because we had to do a new bundle to make it longer and Curl it but it was a waste of money and she said she had 30 years of experience but 30 years experience for so when is it look like that it kept shifting and then she took some kind of powder, and it did not match the part, so it was a hot mess but I won’t be going back to her no more I have sister locks in and I hadn’t had them re-tightened in like six months and that’s why I went for a sew in but I recently got a re-tightened last month so I think the next time I decide to get a sewing, I’ll go to somebody that knows what they’re doing because with 30 years experience, it shouldn’t have looked like that and it was over price and too much money but I guess lesson learned but you do awesome work
