The iconic shape of Black Tusk can be seen from all around Whistler and Squamish. The stratovolcano pinnacle can be climbed via a fun scramble up a chimney, leading to incredible views over Garibaldi Lake, Panorama ridge, Tantalus, and surrounding mountain ranges. Follow my climb as I show the way up the chimney in POV.
Thanks for watching!

@@ROBERTS604 dogs were allowed in the park many decades ago. They were banned due to trampling vegetation, disrupting sensitive flora and fauna, killing ground squirrels/marmots, polluting drinking sources, defecation, and injuring hikers and other dogs. So I stand by my statement no dogs please

I did this in 1994 with 5 of us and zero climbing experience or gear. We made it to the top assuming that everyone else knew what they were doing. It all worked out and is still one of my all time favourite views.

Nice video but it's irritating to see someone who thinks they can just take their dog into an area where dogs are banned. There are good reasons there is this rule and an added reason is that many people want a space that isn't crawling with people's pets when they go out into the wilderness
@angelaf3260

Just because you believe the no dog rule is draconian doesn’t mean there isn’t actual reasons why they aren’t allowed. Please don’t give hikers a bad name by blatantly going against park rules.
