Do you think the "true summit" would be do-able in the winter Tiger? Ie rappell into the notch and climb with ice tools to the true summit spire/pinnacle?
@tigerlu8518Ай бұрын
@@mountfairweather it may be safer in winter time, as compared to non snow season, it should be more reliable with two snow anchors for the rappelling. But you should wait until there is enough snow on the top.

Hey 👋 Tiger four of us went snowshoeing to Burton Hut feb 27th 2021 yesterday like you ... did you get any footage of use crossing Garibaldi Lake? Just wondering. Amazing KZbin.

I barely saw a track across the lake. Good job!

@@elenageneralova507 not allowed during COVID times ... we went in and took picture especially the cobra scorpion in a bourbon whiskey bottle and signed in the log book stating we arrived and left ... 28.5km and 13.5 hours day hike

@@chirocafe Wow, that's a long day hike! BCMC allows booking of their Watersprite lake hut this winter by a single group of people.

Wow, what a beauty, Tiger! How were switchbacks in the forest - icy or easy to walk/ski? Awesome video, as always! 👍👍👍

We did not use anything till Taylor Meadow, where we started snowshoeing. The beginning 1-2 kilometers was somewhat icy.
