Now they need to mix them more live. This dynamicless garbage to sound maybe good on a cellfone kills this great music… Good example, the acoustics tour 2 recording from Milwaukee
@closinginonclosure3 жыл бұрын
@@timvonr2802 It's hard to tell exactly what you're saying. I'm guessing English isn't your first language? If you're suggesting the record label has changed their sound at live shows. That's not tge case. Labels don't control every single aspect. Regarding the label and band. They'll have an artist manager who deals with business aspects. A&R who will be their main go between from the label. They do this like organizing press appearances and interviews during touring and other marketing aspects. 3rd, there is a booking agent who sets up the tour works with A&R to schedule and organize things. The band can have choice on their crew. I'm a musician who's toured extensively. I've also worked live shows as a sound engineer. The venue itself can have an affect on your auditory experience at the show. Not only the venue, but your location in the venue during the show. I'm familiar with Black Veils current team and they've been with the band for years. Through the label change. Many of their crew members and techs have remained the same. This is the choice of the band. Not the label. I hope that helps explain things.
@timvonr28023 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your long reply. Yes, I’m from Germany and really the text wasn’t written with that much though. I hope I can clear my case up. It’s not about the Live Performance itself. I really do like black veil brides and have seen them two times live, with great performance and good live sound. My case is, that the recording of this life show has clearly gotten through post-production and I hate, that rock songs are mixed like pop songs nowadays … I really love some great recording especially when it’s from a live performance, but I hate, when dynamics of instruments is edited out and trying to make some homogeneous loudness level in a rock song. It just kills emotion. It’s not only with this video. It’s a thing, that seem to happen in all music in the last ten years. In that case most of the late 70’s recordings, while far less detailed, shine in comparisons what i think is sad. I guess it’s done to please streaming and other restrictions like cellphones and other non Quality music reproduction devices, which is a shame in my opinion. The acoustics 2 live show from Milwaukee sounds far better in that regard. That’s the sound they should go for. I guess again, that that is not only the artists, but a decision of the whole production team, as well as the labels… We need more great recording's of great music instead of background music… kzbin.info/www/bejne/oHyypaeBfdiMec0

Lyrics We're waiting for collapse In the cold and lonely mirror Reflections all you see Of the world, you made on your own with no mercy (hey) And they call you a liar (hey) But you won't surrender (hey) And they can choose to run with hypocrisy It happens every day We were born to fight for this when all they ever do is pray Never see the truth we miss, when fear consumes the rage We take control, (don't give up) when all they know (is corrupt) We were born to fight for this and lead us through crimson skies The revolution lives In the beat of our hearts and the burning sound of the flames we started in Can you hear it now? Can you feel the hurt? This silent hate (hey) And they worship a liar (hey) But we won't surrender (hey) And we won't ever run from the pain you see Because now we're free We were born to fight for this when all they ever do is pray Never see the truth we miss when fear consumes the rage We take control, (don't give up) when all they know (is corrupt) We were born to fight for this and lead us through crimson skies We were born to fight for this when all they ever do is pray Never see the truth we miss when fear consumes the rage We take control, (don't give up) when all they know (is corrupt) We were born to fight for this and lead us through crimson skies

@@skylarkidude I’m not entirely sure of all the locations. We were front row, just off center so we were able to see the small details in their outfits, expressions, and actions. The video came out just a couple days later, so everything was still quite vivid in my head. I ended up watching it a few (or several 😅) times and slowed the footage down. I was then also able to see into the crowd and recognized the venue we had been in. If it were me, I’d start with the date of the concert you attended, and see if it’s before or after when the video is posted. If it’s before, I’d probably then go back over any photos/videos you have, or see if there are any on social media from that show, and comb through this video’s footage. Once we removed our preconceived bias towards certain genres or artists, we will realise just how many wonderful music is out there waiting to be discovered!
