So, I've noticed how a lot of singers tune their voices so much when they release albums that they sound completely different on stage during live performances. And I've also noticed that Andy sounds almost exactly the same. And that's one thing I love about this band. They're real. The only real difference with Andy is that he likes to change the words and just scream whenever the hell he wants, even if it isn't in the studio album.

I hate to break it to you but there's tuning on this live performance. If you wanna hear his real raw vocal, listen to the Re-Stitch These Wounds live show vocals. Still sounds cool but you can really tell there's no effects there because of how raw the vox sound.

Eeeh not really, Andy does have a beautiful colour to his voice, but he does not have a lot of range, and when he's singing his high notes, anyone with a bit of vocal training can hear he's pulling and pushing to get up there. I like it, I think it gives his vocal character, identity and intensity, but I can see why some people would not like it, and it's not super healthy way to sing, hope it doesn't come back to bite him further down the line.

I don't listen to Black Veil Brides much anymore. I will always have a place in my heart for them they are an amazing band, however I do feel that the fame has gotten to some members heads which has made me not like them as much. I'm glad I stumbled across this because it has shown me how amazing they are live and has reminded me why I love them.

+Lissie Boney What you are experiencing is called growing up - just by looking the crowd and by listening to some of the songs, I got the impression that those kids did a great job - a smart business move: they sound like Tokio Hotel on steroids with a dash of Linkin Park (and other similar bands), they got the looks of early Poison/Motley Crue era which makes them more "in your face", dudes with a stage/theatrical "bad attitude", blogs, vlogs (I'm doing this and I am doing that, watch me sleep, watch me eat...let's utilize modern means of communication to get some cash), tattoo's... After a while it starts to "irritate" how "artificial and superficial" the whole thing/band feels and sounds - not technically, they sound great, on cue but kinda sterile... For me, at least. Andy's statements, attitude, behavior (and the band)... Everything already seen so many times before. Nothing new or interesting, just another visual attraction, another visual package for the social network youth! In one word, they don't have the stuff to get big! No disrespect to your opinion, to them (as I said, very shrewd and smart business concept) to their fans, yet utterly "boxed in" for a specific age group with no real stardom fabric ... Thus said, what you feel in all your right is called growing up :)

+masternippleblaster I think that some of the band members know what they are doing. They are the ones that have gotten cocky or arrogant when being on stage or in an interview. However some of the band members are still the same people and I don't think they really understand what everyone else is trying to do. It's either that or they are doing a pretty damn good job to be discrete about what they are doing. The bands who do everything for the music don't really change their style with each new album they create. Black veil brides have done that and I feel it's not because that are 'bored' with the music they are creating I feel it's because they want to appeal to a larger audience.
