If your native the dancing, the drums, and the singing resonates with you. Some people ask why are natives so serious looking? What do they have to smile about? Their land was stolen from them, their kids were taken from them, and their culture was taken from them. They live on some of the most God forsaken land in this country. Their housing is sub par and their opportunities limited. But many natives leave the reservation for educational and job opportunities. But per capita natives have served more than other minority in the armed forces. To this day I still follow all the teachings of my Chiricahua Apache mother. Love and respect to all and never forget who you are.

Bullshit. They stole the land from and wiped out the real indigenous people of North America. They are not first people, but first invaders

@evyiennetla94162 жыл бұрын
amazing you found this 13 years ago! this is our culture that was ripped away from us I didn't grow up dancing like this I had to learn and study and practice and feel it to appreciate it. Not a lot of outsiders understand that it was a deliberate coordinated heirarchically schemed genocide to prevent us from keeping our oldest most sacred covenant traditions alive. We were to remain joyful and loving and compassionate and grateful in perpetual balance with our Earth Mother and always dreaming looking towards our Sky Father. wasting as little as possible, cocreating the beautiful positive reality in which we all as a collective family helped each other to succeed without money.

Keep tradition alive? You bet! The blessings of the Native peoples, their ways and traditions, embody the only "culture" that North America has ever known! Holla, y'all! Sing for the Great Spirit, and for your brethren and ancestors, On the Other Side! Most of all, sing for me!! Sing that Mother Earth might be restored to her former glory!! Bravo!

I don't ever want to see this Culture disappear from our country! When you hear the song from our Native American bothers and you go out into nature you feel the relationship they had with the lands they lived on and loved. We could learn a lot from them if we would stop being small minded. Native American woman are putting white women to shame! What I mean by that is, where are the white women who dance to Irish music, or English music or German music? They are all only interested in dancing to african music. No true Man wants a woman so closed minded. The triple x is good, but that's about it. I would rather see these woman! The Men have an artistic talent too. The culture is spiritual and I identify more with the spirit than the nature, even though I love nature. What true Man doesn't?
