Black & White Street Photography | Shapes & Light | Leica Q2 Monochrom + Mist Filter

I went back to Toronto to do some more street photography with my Leica Q2 Monochrom. The focus was on shapes & light. This time I decided to try a mist filter. I use mist filters on all my other cameras for both photography and video work, but had not yet put on on the Leica Q2M.
The idea is to soften the sharpness a little, and soften the highlight roll-off. It's a very subtle look unless there are bright patches of light against a dark background.
I went out seeking graphic shapes and diffused light.

Another productive introspection into the Torontonian urban landscape. Indeed the Well is overwhelming. But then there is Kensington market, and that's always rewarding. What a nice photo collection you put together , again, Simon, well done mister !

Loved the shadows in The Well. It reminded me of a scene in the film Dr No, with Professor Dent with shadows from a roof window. Great to see round Toronto.😊

Twlight / low light would be good. Might need to dust off a colour camera for that, if I can remember where they are! 😁
