Fascinating is the perfect word! It does have a beautiful combination feel of scuba diving and an ocean arial view, one of my all time favorites! (and I'm really critical lol) I did have a cringe going after phase 1... but a big sigh of relief when you called it! Then the anticipation and suspense of.....Can she save this?!!! Not just a save, but a HOME RUN! Yay! I do like how you left some of the original pour, the busyness of it actually created a nice contrast, and in itself became a negative space. Beautiful work!

Teal!!!!! Woooooohooooooo!!! You do such a great job...seriously! Especially seeing you fix it when you right away realized you didn't like it, and got something amazing out of it!! So when it's on it's side, with all the beautiful effects, can't believe how many close up, it's almost like the inside of a geode...and then when you showed it where the top would be the white part...love that...it's almost like a side view through waves in the ocean, splashing out in the white, then inside the wave, then down into the deep :) Very cool!!! WAY more time then I'd like to admit I get over excited about trying something right then and start before changing into messy clothes or my apron...I've got paint all over my glasses and water bottle and odd blue chunks of hair sometimes 😆😊all is fun though! This is so stunning and teal is a great choice with black & white! So much to see here, I could look at it for hours. So I have to mention, I have a "Be Strong & Back Away" tee shirt that is dedicated to painting, because I am so messy. Amazingly, it has no paint on it yet! But I just ordered another; the sentiment really does fit many experiences. I think I'll wear it to the grocery store to encourage social distancing! LOL!

Mely I LOVE to watch you paint...you can FEEL your thoughts and emotions. I worry and I stress too much over it... but I am absolutely a newbie and LOVE learning from other established fluid artists such as you (and MMG, just to name one other). I would have never ever attempted to try this if not for your "simple is best" series/motto. I hope you know how you inspire people - you truly do!! You are an intuitive painter and I strive for that. I wish I was able to paint right now.... my health situation has kept me from it and I ACHE to be in my art room. Videos like yours keep me going and pushing through. I may not comment often, sometimes I just put videos on autoplay and watch while I'm getting my infusions. Oh, Melissa!!! The gamut of emotions as I watched this was a roller coaster. I was so upset when it started reacting in the cup, then marbled the whole thing. no bueno. I think I bought the same high priced Artists Loft paint set you did. They work great with one another. Not so much with other brands as you found out. I really enjoyed watching this creation. I was watching your progress and thinking just like you, until you decided to add some puddles to fix it up. Good on you. I would have scrapped it and started over.
