Saw this band at a concert in Braintree, Essex at the Horn Hotel in 1971. Nostalgia rules OK

Wonderful - this sounds like a small venue, so presumably a small crowd and therefore an intimate show?

Underrated means what? Not spammed on Pop radio stations? These gems are for the miners...not the lazy twat goldfish just waiting for a handout on the surface. You can take Stairway to Heaven and shove it up your narrow ass. You know man...

Black Widow is a band that have been hugely inspirational to me. Their music is very progressive and atmospheric with lots of great organ/guitar/woodwinds and strong vocals which make their often dark and haunting lyrics even more powerful. I would strongly recommend this album to anyone who is looking for a lost heavy progressive masterpiece this is the best it ever is gonna sound!

The were called Pesky Gee and made one lp on Pye. After recording their second lp the girl singer left. So they got a male singer and rerecorded the vocals changed their name and became black widow. I believe the original may have now been released it was recorded at Beck Studio Northants.

Digression mélodique sur rythme monolithique ! Un classique !! C'est beau comme la rencontre fortuite d'une cuillère à pot et d'un médiocre roman "à l'eau de rose" sur le rebord d'un guichet de quai de gare en travaux !

Yes, it's your opinion and I can even respect it but Sacrifice is a Dark/Prog masterpiece and their undisputed "magnum opus", according to anyone in the world of serious connoisseurs and objective reviewers. BW "Same" is a good/average Prog album. Of course personal taste you can't judge, agree mate...
