Fun fact!!!! The Ancient One was a male too! But Tilda Swinton was great in that role, so no issues. Basically gender swap doesn't affect much if the direction is strong! Also if the script doesn't push too hard on, " If this character was a female it would be better." Just stick to the character... Like in doctor strange! The Ancient one was not male or female by perpose ! She was the SORCERER SUPREME!!

He just left following the story after he said about Taskmaster. How Yelena and Natasha met, how they freed Red Guardian, meeting Melina and her strange pigs and then taking down the Red Room. Ik the movie was fine and these things are not of greater significance but the breakdown could have been better. Atleast a little more about Yelena and also the group of Black Widows should have been covered.

this movie was so similar to the winter soldier, if you compare for e.g. bucky was in control of alexandra and in BW taskmaster too was in control of dreykov, captain had falcon and natasha had yelena, natasha used face disguise, in BW yelena asked for help and in winter S. fury asked for help. Taskmaster and winter soldier both were too similar.

I watched the movie with great expectations. Black Widow was getting a solo movie and Taskmaster was also getting introduced. . But the movie disappointed me a little. I feel it only was made to introduce Yelena Belova in the marvel universe. And then they even spoiled Taskmaster who is a very famous character in the comics.

Taskmaster was such a great villain in Comics and Animated Shows , he is always a recurring character and not a one timer, but I guess they wanted to show taskmaster as a one time villain in MCU so made it like this and didn't want her to return in other movies, cause if they made a proper Taskmaster , then he/she isn't a villain which can be defeated in 1 movie , he/she is a very hard to defeat character, with Proper fighting skills and a very sharp mind.
