Black Women Ain't Got Ta LIVE Like This! 🛑 Are those brunch pics in Atlanta worth it? Is that winter in Chicago / Detroit / Minneapolis for you? That paycheck from that “good job” got you crying in the car? So you move in silence, huh? How’s that working out for you? Black women deserve BETTER.

SO very true! All truly good gifts and blessings comes directly from the Heavenly Father, the ones “that makes one rich And he adds no pain with it,” as Proverbs 10:22 says.

1:00:29, I couldn't agree with you more. I am currently in Customer Service Support and the daily mental, and emotional pain to deal with issues which is no fault of mine but of course it is my job makes me feel now like a worn car tyre. I so can't wait to create an online income and move to Mexico.

My mother says I can’t be jumping from jobs to jobs because it doesn’t look good. I told her look good to who? I don’t care any job or what they think. If I start hating a job then I leave. I’m not sacrificing myself at any job. Also, I’m still researching and so far I want to go to Denmark or Sweden. Black Women seriously need to stop with the struggle. Stop struggling with black males and kids. Date out, don’t date or stop having kids because males have SHOWN US (of all races) that they ARENT dependable. PS We just started getting snow a few hours ago. First winter day for this winter season. We moved from spring to winter. The summer was cold and extremely rainy and we have not been having fall.

Stephanie, THANK YOU! I don't think I've ever had the words to explain the feeling, but rejecting black excellence and the idea of "doing" your way to value is IT!!! So, THANK YOU! I'm going to work on articulating my wants and sharing them boldly this week. 💜
@BanquetHallManager

Why would you reject black excellence? Black excellence is just black people being the best version of themselves. A black woman moved to Dubai and started a real estate company over there, and her clientele is Americans. They fly to Dubai to meet her and she shows them homes. That's black excellence.

This was like my favorite flan: DELICIOUS. I scribbled notes on the back of junk mail like I was in a lecture hall so good we’re the nuggets of information and quotable soundbites. The bit about rejecting Black Excellence brought tears to my eyes. I’m going to marry a NOT Black man who adores me and supports my want and need to live life on my own terms. Doing so will allow me to give my time to the volunteer passions that make my heart sing. Thank you from my hearts bottom ❤

I desire community but that’s something I haven’t had in my adult life. I have had bad experiences with other black women as well but I give my sisters a pass a lot because I know being a black woman is hard and it can be worse without support. I do agree with the “live out loud “ saying regardless of what unhappy people think. Thank you for the affirmation and positive words.

We all desire community and connection,but building community requires communication, opening up and being vulnerable, that’s how we bond and form relationships. The conundrum is that we’ve all been hurt in the past, we’ve all been traumatized to a certain extend, therefore making it difficult to trust.
@JenJHayden

@@freespirit-111those are lessons not to do it again. my life improved when I stopped opening up and being vulnerable with people that don't know me. an elder once told me, " if they won't be at your bedside, they don't deserve your story." so I keep it surface level and cordial and encouraging. my story is special and not for everyone. i learned that the hard way. ❤
