I’m also from the Bay Area Christy! Question: How do you pay taxes there? Do you still pay US taxes? Would also like to see the regular folks-black Panamanians in the hood. Also what are the major components to the economy? Again, very good and many thanks 🙏🏾!

Rainy season is called the green season in Costa Rica and that’s a great description- we get a couple of hour of rain (mostly afternoon rains like in Florida). There are bugs but I had as many as I had in Maryland.

Rainy season is not depressing because it doesn’t rain 24 hours a day, every day, I rarely deal with mosquitoes but if you go to the park it’s best to wear big spray

My biggest concern which I haven’t seen many people talk about are the snakes. Do you actually get snakes in your home in Boquete to or David? How often do you see them if you’re out and about and what is your level of concern. I’m asking because I will be traveling with a young child who is not aware of his surroundings and I’m just trying to figure out what level of effort I’m gonna have to make to ensure that he doesn’t get hurt. Plus snakes terrify me.

Great video with great perspectives. I’m definitely excited to be moving there as a single woman. The hardest thing for me is deciding where to move. These ladies make Boquete sound great. I was thinking a beach town until I heard about the venomous sea snakes. I’m also considering the city, but I don’t know about all the noise and the hustle bustle. I need to get there and explore each areas to see what fits. 😊 Thank you for these awesome videos. They really help those of us moving there. Thanks Mary! ☀️😊🩷

Thanks for watching, I have never heard anyone living at the beach complaining about snakes. 🤔 The city has both areas that are quieter and some have more noise. There is a nice community in Boquete. So it really does depend on your preferences. There is something for everyone!

Too much of white America thinks they’re privileged and no other races welcomed, which is horrific. Too much political discord in this country too many ignorant people don’t know why they’re voting for a particular presidential candidate instead of the betterment of the world and the US too many people live in a rabbit hole, we just found out where this presidential election . Welcome to a country where racial division is non existent. Whites, Blacks, Indigenous and Orientals live peacefully together, Christians, Jews and Muslims just as well. It gives credibility that racial and religious differences in USA are artificially spearheaded for apparently political support purposes. May Our Lord Jesus Christ bless you Ladies from this White brother in Christ. 🙏
