This was very inspiring to watch. I didn't hear Stephanie ask the guest to explain how she was able to finance her sabbaticals at the start. GG did hint at some bank account trembles early on and later on, an ex-spouse who bought her out of a home owned jointly which created a cushion. But there was no real mention of how one could finance this endeavor. Of course, those details may be contained on the paid webinar down the road... Anyway, I kinda felt like it was the "elephant in the room" that GG is doing all this globe hoppin' with no regular income but livin' the life. I get it that she may have built up some following now and doing coaching or consulting and that she may have had a 401k to draw on in the beginning. But for those of us who may not have that or who are afraid to use it or haven't reached the age to use it. How does one get started traveling and house-sitting and have the means to make it work?
@desireeyoung62057 ай бұрын
That's the million dollar question: What do you do for money if you don't have a skill that can be done online?

I think the answers lie within episodes on Stephanie's and GG's YT channels. Essentially, it's a mindset change and new comfort with risk!

I am ready too to get off this job and live with ease. I really want to connect and learn a much as I can about traveling solo--my only concern is with safety especially with staying in a strangers home. I would love to get into house sitting. Stephanie, I would really like to chat with you or either Rhosheda (forgive me if I misspelled her name) in order to find out how a person can house sit in other countries without medical insurance. Medical insurance is what is holding me to my job. I already receive a pension, then went back to work because I needed medical insurance. Is there affordable medical insurance one can purchase when traveling abroad?
