This movie is wild and I absolutely love it for that lol. Like the backstory of billy was so messed up and lord are the kills in this movie great. The cast is pretty entertaining and Katie Cassidy was so good in this movie.

This was my year round comfort movie for a couple years lol. When i hear dance of the sugar plum fairy, I only think of this movie. Which is kinda funny because when I hear jingle bell rock, I automatically think of mean girls

This was my Black Christmas introduction, I saw this version 1st. And that freaking cookie scene stuck with me for YEARS!! I didn't know the name of the movie though so it took me forever to find it again. I'm nostalgic about this version though, once I finally found the name of these films again I saw the original afterward. I still like this version a lot, I do like the phone conversations more in the original though, they varied it more and I liked the ambiguity of the 1st. I love how each version has different things they did well over the other. It's a great double feature of the original and the remake! The dang yellow though, I can't. Looked like the emojis 🤣 If it wasn't neon it would have been better, but it definitely showed you how camp they were trying to make it lol

It's not really a version. Her death by the lights it's only in the trailer and not in the movie. The Australian Version is edit by someone who add the scene from the trailer in the movie... I just checked the A.V and it's just editing by soemone. Unfortunately, all the death scene in the trailer as just for the trailer...

Watch the original Black Christmas (1974) by Bob Clark. He went on to make A Christmas Story and The Porky's Trilogy. It's so much better than the gory remake

I can tell why this remake got so much hate, but it's still a good xmas movie to watch over the holidays, if only for the kills. There was an alternate ending where both killers bodies were reportedly discovered at the sorority house, only for the film to suggest that Billy survived and is still on the loose when they're in the hospital room and get a call from one of the sorority sisters that died...zoom out and fade to black. I think that would have been the better ending, storywise.
