Was my favourite fly on the Loch of Strathbeg. Bob fly and fished fast, the fish there were loch levens. Geese started roosting there until there were thousands and their crap finally killed the loch. On another point, ive already said but your marabou is brilliant, can use every bit of the feather, lovely.

Hi there. You know, this fly seems a bit strange in the US. But since it’s just a small woolly bugger so I’m going to give it a try. I linked this video to myself as a reminder to get back to you when I catch something on it. Still too chilly here, so a bit of time will be necessary. TTYs 🍻

Nice one dave brilliant video. Can you do a video on each season and the flies you use for instant early spring I for one carry to many flies and get confused to what type of fly to use rather than have a go to fly which works and I have confidence in .

My personal twist with both Zulu and Kates add a two turns of partridge, white, or Dunn hen infront of the body hackle. With the Kate black body palmered body hackle then brown with the partridge, or white in front. Just different enough trigger that fish that has seen it all. Again in #12 to #18s
