One day I went with my mom in the rain, we both wore our ponchos and it was one of the best days I’ve ever spent at a theme park.

Outstanding advice, especially on the non-ride attractions. I'm not physically able to do the coasters so I'm really excited for the wealth of other options. I will ride the beautiful train though

Great video, thanks for sharing! I've been in Tennessee for over a year now and even though Dollywood is right up the road I still haven't been there yet. I didn't realize it was that big. I will definitely be going soon thanks to this video.

Teva shoes are great if it rains or going on the water rides! SOLID TIP!!!
@lklein9262 Жыл бұрын
Thank you! The tip that probably will help us the most and applies specifically to my family is not returning to the same places over and over and making a track around the park with no backtracking. We easily get overwhelmed and undecided and this tip alone will probably save our day, especially since we only get to go for a single day and have never been. Looking forward to it!!

Spring is a great time if you can make it for all the flowers!!

This was super helpful, thanks! The only thing I can’t personally get on board with is “the less baggage, the better.” We’ll be there with 2 kids under 2, so there’s gonna be some baggage. 😅

I haven’t been here since I was a child. Bringing my daughter here on a weekend getaway as we have some hotel points to use. We have never been to a theme park so trying to plan as best as possible

Been visiting Pigeon Forge since the late 70's but never visited Dollywood. I have been meaning to go since Opryland closed, but have never been. I am making plans to visit the week of the 18th in August 2023. But the Gem mine and 3 bears country store are 1st on my list.

You mean the theme park thinks about their guests??? Freewater??!! Thats insane. I am used to having to stand outside in a monsoon with my mouth open in Disney to get free water.
@autumnpalmerkania40789 ай бұрын
Disney offers free water at any stand with soda fountain. Very easy to find and they will give you as many as you want

Number one thing is don't waste ur money. 100 dollars for admission to see line for rides upwards of 45 minutes. Or rides not even running.

I don’t know if Dollywood does this or not. But the more suvenere cups u buy the cheaper it is.

Chasing Rainbow museum is no more at Dollywood, believe she moved it to Nashville?
@ThemeParkLand Жыл бұрын
You are right! When this video was made it was there, but it has been closed and they will reopen it "differently" in 2024 at Dollywood.🦋

How much area is cutoff for power chairs? I’m disabled and have a power chair.
@mdconway157 ай бұрын
They do have adequate room all over the entire park for power chairs and I see them often. However, if you can go at more down times, it might be easier to maneuver because it can get really crowded. ❤
