Our thoughts on the current controlled EXTRATERRESTRIAL reality disclosure process and related US GOV cover-up? Once the uneasy, contagious giggling subsides, how will our civilization and the mislead sheep adapt to this publicly known reality? Are the good Shepherds withholding the truth in our best interest? Perhaps multiple species are involved? How will the 80+ years of dishonesty be addressed? Has the cost of maintaining the lie exceeded the price of simply telling the truth? Is it time this great country start walking the walk? What might be some of the potential implications of disclosure of this reality? New energy sources perhaps? Transportation? Religions? History? The economy? Race relations? Politics? Perhaps it leads to confirmation of an established "secret" space program? But does the flock really want to know the complete story?

Back in '82 I was in vo-tech school studying diesel mechanics and during the last week before summer vacation, our instructor who also had a Chevy Vega funny car, showed us how to make boost on a Briggs & Stratton. He cut about a 1 1/2" hole in the flywheel shroud level with the flywheel cooling fins and mounted a Chevy thermostat housing over it. Then he ran a radiator hose from that to the carb. It actually made a positive difference in power. Later we milled the aluminum head to increase the compression. Needless to say, we scattered that engine, but it ran like a scalded ape up until that point.

Before I'd go machining the head for another spark plug, I'd figure out a way to put an accelerator pump near the engine to clear up that 0 to 5 mph lull while the engine is waiting for the "jump to light speed" that is quite clear in the first 0 to 30 run. Use a push pull throttle and make push cable release a spring loaded (jet-able) accelerator pump. Fine tuning will be required. Should bring you into the 3.0's so hold on with both hands. ;)
@williamrosenow6176 Жыл бұрын
I think the low end lag is the time it takes the small engine to draw a vacuum on that long intake pipe. He could put a 90 deg, forward facing with a scoop to help or maybe a 90 deg up so the charge falls towards the engine. Got to get the fuel/air charge to the engine faster at low rpm. Maybe a smaller diameter pipe too that's a big intake. Like you said it probly needs more fuel on takeoff too.
@kevinsellsit5584 Жыл бұрын
@@williamrosenow6176 At idle before the run, the entire length of the manifold has the maximum vacuum the engine can produce, but the lowest velocity it can produce. When the throttle is slammed wide open the engine will get a massive gulp of air (with idle richness fuel already mixed in) but then the manifold has almost no vacuum, but atmospheric pressure helping to fill the void while the engine is waiting for the now open main jet's fuel rich mixture to finally reach the combustion chamber. Notable improvements would result from fattening the idle richness until it was on the verge of fouling the plug, but who wants to sit on a minibike in a black cloud of poisonous gas? Not to mention when all your buddies go rippin off and you stall just as you hit the gas. That being said, a tiny squirt of fuel just as you dump that massive gulp of air into the cylinder would be just the ticket unless you are holding a camera in one hand ... The bike will leave but you will not. Another good option would be a vacuum operated carb that will maintain intake velocity for you even if you slam the throttle plate WFO. They have an accelerator pump as well.

The diameter and length of both the intake and exhaust, if tuned exactly right, will create a supercharging effect at very specific engine RPMs. One will be strongest, but multiple engine speeds will get the boost. They could be 2, 4, 6, and 8 thousand RPM, could be 3, 6, 9 thousand, could be 4, 8, and 12k... in between those boosted zones though, there are areas where you actually have LESS power than before. With dirtbikes and sport/race street bikes, most of the time we use a longer exhaust and tune it because it really helps and it gets the exhaust away from us. Then we use the shortest intake possible to keep from having any low power spots in the rpm range. I use a tuned exhaust manifold that is close to 2 foot long all by itself on my pressure washer. Older Honda gx160 (I think?) Opened up the jet in the stock carb just a hair. Made a HUGE difference. It's a pressure washer... but it actually works a LOT faster now. The thing is... it only runs at ONE engine speed. Doesn't matter if it has power at 2000 or 5000 rpm, because it NEVER runs at either one.

I'm not sure what your expert is all about but as a master small engine tech I can say the emulsion tube in your carb is designed to make the fuel become a mist before it gets to the intake valve for a more consistent burn than fuel just pouring in and with that length intake manifold you won't have a mist going in anymore as compared to a shorter one. It doesn't matter as much at full throttle but it won't idle as good as it could. Let me know if you want to know something as you don't have any questions I can't answer about small engines so feel free and I will reply to you. Oh yeah no two spark plugs won't give you any noticeable power but it will make the ignition more dependable. Next?

Actually betting that a 10-12 inch long smaller-diameter intake tube would increase bottom end torque and drop 0-30 times without dramatically hurting the top speed. The old Chrysler long ram 413 achieved over 100% volumetric efficiency naturally aspirated at low RPMs by creating a "ram" effect in a narrow RPM window, and many modern engines employ that tech.

Try a trumpet end on the exhaust to help scavenge and curve the intake tube around the back and come back up front with it. Put a funnel stack on the carb to force more air in. I'm only 3 minutes into your video and, personally, increasing exhaust back pressure (BP), and increasing intake restriction will hurt your HP. The expert must have meant every foot will decrease, not increase. But, let's continue. Exhaust is way more complex than I originally thought. True, you want to reduce or eliminate BP but if thats all, use a big diameter pipe. But, that won't work. The right diameter and length exhaust pipe will actually create a vacuum clearing out waste gases from the cylinder. That's if I'm understanding this topic.
