They run pretty good if you swap the stock red spring with a green spring in the torque converter

Yeah sure you could use it but it might slow it down a bit.

How or where can I get a flywheel that can handle higher rpms in a de-governed 196 engine with 26lb valve springs, and billet rod? Or are there coils that I can upgrade to that will charge in a billet or upgraded flywheel? I would be extremely grateful for your feedback

So just to clarify, you can use a stock 79cc Predator cam on a 98cc engine from gomotorsports? (Trying to just eliminate the plastic cam and use heavier springs to eliminate possible float due to intake and exhaust mods.) (No flywheel or cam grind mod)

Not really sure. I have reved it as fast as it would turn with the aftermarket cam and 22lb springs with no issues so far.

Hey brother, big fan here!!! You think opening up the exhaust and intake runners as well as polishing the exhaust port would do anything on one of these lil 3hp? I was also considering shaving the head down a lil since the piston is so far down in the hole. My buddy and I have a lil contest on who can make there 3 horse the fastest with stock internals lol

Hey i’m here to help! I’ve never done it before but i’m pretty sure you have to get a stock cam from a 79cc predator (it’s all metal) and then send it to affordable go karts and they will send it back all ground down

The cam is a 79cc Predator cam that you send to him to have re-ground to his specs. You might have to get a hold of him on the website.

You dont need to run a key on the flywheel. You can just line up your timing and torque it down the wherever you want it.
