It is interesting what you can say to a General and get away with when you are an OR or even a junior Officer. See Generals spend their days with people who are not as honest with them as they should be. Generals are fighting men who can get a job done, when the time is right they like a frankness. I once saw a Lt say to a Gen “Sir you need todo what I say when I say it or you will die and that will fuck up my Career!” The General laughed and said “I am yours to command, now let’s go smash some shit.”
