I got myself a blackberry bold 9700, I have never used blackberries before, extremely easy to understand, 3g in my country (Dominican Republic) super fast, my provider let's me use it as moden with my laptop. Super reliable, nothing to complain about!!!

I like Aaron. He was quick and straight to the point. The new BB is amazing! I like the look of the phone and the look of the OS. Sometimes I wish I could just have a different phone everyday. But I'm not rich like that and there is no point. Blackberry is doing big things I see!

Great video Aaron. I've been waiting for this phone for a while now. I will be able to upgrade in three weeks, and now I don't know what to get, Nokia n97, Motorola Cliq, or this blackberry. All three phones are awesome in their own way, so that's what makes it difficult for me to decide. Any suggestions?

Great review, Aaron.. I am currently rocking an Unlocked Curve 8900 and an unlocked 9530 and love them both, but when I got my first BB(8900) I didn't really know how much of a difference Edge and 3g was. THEN I got my mother a Bold 9000 and the keyboard-Speed everything was beautifull. Lol, so I was a tad bit envious. In February I am upgrading to the 9700 and your review has helped me make this decision, thanks again and please keep the BB reviews up - we all love Noah, but diversitys great 2

@DroughtDrizzle I would think so, you can use the Torch as a touchscreen like the Storm, or you can slide it up and it has a keyboard, so you can use it like this one. I'd rather have the Torch, but it really just depends on if you like Blackberry or iPhone more.

I got this phone a little while ago at work. It is pretty good, but it is kind of small. Also, the shortcut to BB messenger is no longer pinned to the message menu, and the today theme is no longer available. Also, I would note that the phone comes with a 2gb memory card already installed (don't look for it in the box), at least on T-mobile.

@JaviHertz get the iphone 4... blackberry os is very old now and they're basically refreshing the same os but with diffrent icons... at least with the iphone you basically make the os yourself, you choose what games are on there, what apps are on there as well as how many... blackberry has apps to but not to the degree of the iphone

difference between this and the 8530 is the camera and the screen resolution. Processor, memory, OS version is all the same. I can't wait to get my 8530!

I personally suggest you get the Bold. Yes, its slightly more expensive but the overall build quality, speed, battery life, etc, is much better. On the Curve 8900 its known to have a rather low battery life as well as the fact that the keyboard is literally 1 piece (the whole keyboard moves). In addition, the bold has a MUCH better keyboard and battery life,

i used to have one of these and apart from crap browser they are an excellent phone,battery lasts forever,great keyboard,brilliant signal,comfortable to hold far nicer to use and hold than the 9900 which i had after if it wasnt for all the more modern shit and the browser i would still have one of these now as an actual phone i think they are perfect,sadly just a phone isnt enough anymore

@Ger69maN I'd say this one. I am a current cliq xt owner. I've exchanged 3 of them. I've had black screens, trouble texting, phone freezing and crashing ( no apps on it) and lots of other problems. This one too has it's share of problems, but less than the xt.

These are actually Pretty good to be honest..i use to think they a piece of garbage until i lost my I phone 5 just Recently God Dammit...Anyways i started using this,as it was just laying around in my bedroom and its works pretty Good Internets fast never frozen since I've started using it again..Which has been around a month or so know.The thing i dislike about this phone is Sometimes the reception bar drops and cant make any phone calls..
