The SIM card was in the wrong way... There's a picture below showing you how the sim is inserted with the cut off corner on the bottom left and the contacts face down

@TheMrPorkpie They keyboard isnt called the trackpad -__-.....it's called the 'keyboard' by chance.....the trackpad is what you scroll around with between the bb menu button and the back button -_-

they rip you off because you just brought the phone and the charger and the box is not original and you are missing the cell phone usb cable and cd to the computer and all manuals

You don't know anything do you!!! You can lock it by one button on the keyboard and it's called the track pad!
