My heart is really with blackberry. This brand was really the king. I'm using Samsung Galaxy S7 but i didn't find any Blackberry device that could really challenge flagships like iPhones and note 8 or pixel

It's a good midrange phone, but I'd like to see them do a flagship. Smaller bezels, better speakers, better cameras, more storage - the executive model. Overall though, it doesn't ask you to give up very much to have a secure phone, so I'd call it a win. If I had to choose between the Motion and the iPhone X, I'd take the Motion simply for the security. And hey, maybe the huge bezels are a security feature, to keep thieves from wanting to steal your phone.

True. Overall I'd say there's more lost than gained through bezel-less designs. It's mostly a gimmick.

I need an "executive" model from BlackBerry as well. Bezels are OK, I like the build and form factor of the Motion. But the pure hardware specs and the crappy camera, I am crying if I see it. BlackBerry, wake up and bring a perfect phone!

got it on the day of release - switched from dtek50 and this is an amazing phone - but did not put in water for testing ;) the rgb-led can only be used best with an external app like light manager - hub or system does not let you set colors for specific notifications :( looking forward to your full review :)

I've had the BlackBerry Motion for 1 week now, came over from a DTEK60 that had the 820 snapdragon...this Motion has a 625 snapdragon...i really haven't noticed a difference in performance. Best thing on this mid level device is the battery...it lasts at least 2 days with medium use! So refreshing to not be tied to a charger or powerpack! The whole point of using mid level components was to keep the price and power consumption down... I've have no complaints as the phone is a daily tool that just works and well! Wouldn't be without the BlackBerry Password Keeper and BlackBerry hub software. Show less REPLY

I have used keyone for a week. Really when I got a Motion from Dubai I gave up it. Motion is far far better than Keyone. Battery is amazing. And screen size is more than sufficient. I give 100 marks to motion ....For Keyone only 50 marks!

Dtek 60 has snapdragon 821 I am pretty sure. So it's faster but the battery dies faster. I am pretty sure.

P.S. Do you know, the camera chip in the Motion is not the same as in the KEYone? It has the same resolution, but the chip in Motion is not so good as in the KEYone, especially in low light conditions.

This device have a problem with sound recording during video capture or dictophone works. Very low level of playing sound because camera's software uses only upper mic (mic for noise reduction) & do not use bottom mic. Blackberry support can't fix this problem. I'm a real owner.

It is nice, but... is not like a Priv Style. Motion is only one more smartphone like other models. Blackberry needs to make a new Priv, they are my prefer BlackBerry yet. This is, in my opinion, a design that can give to BlackBerry an identity for the market

If you can, pls suggest to #Blackberry that a device running the latest cpu & gpu is not a terrible idea...I find it quite appalling that #Blackberry chose to go into the Android OS space and thinks it can get away from the specs war...#Blackberry devices will only get noticed or mentioned if they stand a chance against flagships from other manufacturers. Great reviews liike yours and #crackberry don't make any dent anymore because the company is only churning out underwhelming devices

I was looking for a full touch BlackBerry device for a long time. I love the size, form factor and build quality of the Motion. But what I am very disappointed, are the hardware specifications of it. The 625 chipset is old and weak even for a mid level device. The phone would deserve 64 GB memory as well and definitely a better camera. You can get for 500 Euro today the amazing LG G6 and the S8 sometimes as well. I really can't understand BlackBerry, why they are not able to put for this price at least the 660 chipset and a better camera in it. I am simply very disappointed.

I like the Blackberry Launcher, Hub and the entire concept of BlackBerry phones. Even if you install the Blackberry Suit on an other Andoud device, its not the same if you have it from the start in the device built in. But its crazy, that Blackberry is not able to put this perfect software in a decent device with decent hardware specifications. really I cant understand it.
