Have used and tried the Motion and it is one solid premium device. Was very impressed when had it on my hands and the back looks awesome. 3 days running and battery just keeps going. Lots of features for a great Price. Definitely Motion is in Full Motion.

Can you tell me, whether the virtual keyboard is similar or exactly like that of the Z10 and Z30? I've complained to Blackberry Mobile that when I walked into a Bell store in Toronto that the keyboard was simply just an Android keyboard and not a Blackberry one. They advised me that the store did not "turn-on" the swipe gestures for the words/keyboard, but to my understanding, if this is a BB device, why must that natural typing/swiping experience be "turned-on" when it should already be up and running?

NYTOC hello the keyboard is from BlackBerry and it is awesome. You have the option to flick words above keys as you type and you can also enable swipe typing. Supports multiple languages as you type. Yes just like on Z10 / Z30 but improved.

Rico4you are you serious??? Could you possibly make a video post? If not I will take your word for it. I am currently using an LG V20 and Nexus 6 both of which typing is pissing me off. I have never had to correct myself nearly 200 times typing a message or composing a reply using a blackberry keyboard. If you made a video, could you send it to my inbox? I am not with Bell or Rogers, I don't know when they will allow this phone to be bought outright from BBM, but if you speak the truth, then I would gladly like to go back to that Bell store and tell the employees to set the device up correctly. Thank you for your reply, it really means a lot. I've missed my BBPP SE since it went down due to crashing issues.

Thanks for the review! I haven't tried the Motion out, but I reckon I'll stick with the Keyone. I like the physical keyboard, but am not averse to touch screen either. Thing for me is I've always liked BB in general, but a big part of that appeal has been how the phone looked and felt in my hand. The rubber style backing (sounds crazy) and feel in the hand has always been special for me. As such, the shape and edges of Motion look like iPhone, and probably feel the same too. Conclusion, I'm in no hurry to get new phone as only got the keyone in July, and really enjoy using it. So I'll wait to see what the next BB puts out next.

i love Blackberry i´m the biggest Fan ! =) i collect them all i have the Q10, Bold, Playbook ( Tablet ) , Passport and currently the Keyone ( Silver + Black Edition ) the physical Keyboard is essential for me because Touchscreen only suck´s....BB is better the Apple´s IPhone or Samsung Galaxy Series ( i had the s8 + note 8 )@ITALY ( im sorry my english is not good )

Does your passport struggle with everything (almost)... browser is a nightmare, when I try to open new tab I have to restart browser. Maybe I'll try to reset phone to factory settings and survive next few months

I know I have a Passport too and I just love it, but with the newer Apps that are either Android or Apple platforms....sigh...I am being forced to upgrade. The FB App that's just a browser version is a bit crazy. Anyway thanks for the comments folks

I am using both the KEYone and the Motion. I prefer the KEYone for emailing and doing text type tasks. The KEYone also has a virtual keyboard that can be easily put up on to the screen. As for performance, I am not using the phones for gaming. I find the performance excellent for general type use. I do a lot of browsing, emails, tasks, notes, and etc. I also do a lot of news reading and watch news videos fairly often. I found no slowdowns or any glitches that would annoy me. I require two separate phone numbers for mobile use. I bought the two different phones to sort of have the best of both types. Both are excellent phones. One thing about Blackberry phones is the security. This is a big plus that made me stay with Blackberry. I also like the quality of the product and the way their phones work.

I have the blackberry keyone 64gb black edition I've always been lg but I stopped at the g5 se , from now on I'm a blackberry user , I like the build look and what the phone offers, plus and a big plus is the battery life I also love the fact they are still lcd ips screens no burn in worry and still get a beautiful screen for viewing, blackberry is a true all day daily driver for adults

The At&t black Keyone has 3Gb ram & 32Gb of storage just like the silver one. It just came in the mail, and its 100 bucks cheaper than it used to be (2/20/18). The "Black Edition" has 4Gb & 64Gb, and I think it comes unlocked.

I had the opportunity to try both side-by-side. If it had been a year and a half ago, I’d choose the KEYᴼᴺᴱ. But I’ve been on a full-touch phone for that year and a half so choose the Motion for the large screen, battery and waterproof capability. I’m also told that the BlackBerry ‘skin’ makes Android work well so I’m looking forward to trying that out.

Bruce Banner A bigger display by 1 inch does not mean it'll use 500mah extra at the same rate of the keyone. It's not a better battery.. Just bigger so lasts longer.

Bruce Banner Why would I need to mate? BlackBerry say the keyone is good for 26+ hrs and the motion good for 32+hrs. Even you never hit those numbers the simple mathematics tells you that in their own tests the additional inch does not cause 500mah extra capacity to drain so quick that it ends up being the same 26 hours with the keyone.

Blackberry Passport SE unless they would of went with a 4:7 inch KeyOne super amoled with 4;3 RATIO (Wide as allowed) it as wide as possible with larger keys, but they didn't so... Blackberry Passport! It would of been PERFECT! Maybe the KeyTWO, stereo speakers are a MUST, KILLER SOUND! I am a Crackberry Addict, they should hire me for design! ;)

I had the keyone (32GB/3GBram) it was so cool, but unfortunately it was a lag machine. It would slowdown at least 5 or 6 times a day. The only thing I would use the phone for was social media and messaging. Because of that I ended up returning it. Hopefully the Keytwo will be much faster and better optimized.

You forgot to mention the Motion is cheaper. Here in Netherlands it's only 469. The KeyOne is almost 100 euros more expensive. I currently doubting which phone to buy. I now have the PRIV and thinking of going full touch with the Motion. I love the keyboard but screen is also important for me as I use it a lot in the car for navigation and watching video

Michieliosi dilemma is, altho the bigger screen is nice... itll make it a tad slower, ...and the more u hav the screen on, the motions bigger battery won't matter too much ...... I went to a crackberry meet up and played around with both, I found the keyone screen was nicer too.....and the keyone felt very premium and solid, the motion a bit hollow, although still very gd just didn't compare........ Choosing one is impossible

Jacob Hicks I got ketone silver.....always gets me 7hr + screenon time per day, and I use snapchat and instagram mainly so that's gd.....hasnt frozen or bugged out.......screen size not botherd me.....camera and keyboard r gr8 too

I will buy the Keyone than the Motion. The Keyone has a class and glamour plus the built is strong. The motion looks ordinary and the resolution is not pretty well okay. It looks like poor quality although it is new and interesting. It has no impact overall compare to the Keyone.
