Excellent - Paul’s will son will soon have his own band to support you. Ijust love them all, but Paul’s smiles are so georgeous, Charlie, it’s a been said, he’s just well sooooo good at everything. I’m in the UK and will see you Guys in Edinburgh. Can’t wait. I was hooked up with Dave Greenfield (keys)from the Stranglers (British rock band). He used to drag me around the U/KAmsterdam ). I did BV’s and sometimes a solo, like ‘tomorrow Night’. When I was 18 he sent me a ticket for the Vienna Ostend express.to Frankfurt.The band was rather small so I was warmly welcomed - we were playing for US GI’s & it could get rough, fights, a shooting .((I know most of yous Songs backwards: & I do a mean harmony), The weird thing is that Brit reminds me of him, & it looks like he might just have a split level Hammond, which was the only bit of kit we had.in those days. It was ‘74 &we had to do everything ourselves in those days Sadly Dave passed in 20 ish.from Covid complications, so sorry about your wonderful Drummer; but it was inevitable, & clearly well planned). The Stranglers have an album out now,called Dark Matters, just find the acoustic version of ‘& if you should see Dave’ - it will resonate. Richard, just keep going & one day you’ll find peace. Anyone I haven’t mentioned are fab too. See you in September, I’ll be hanging around in my wheelchair (fractured back + + +), with my Companion and I’ll be wishing I’d had enough money for a VIP ticket, don’t need all the bits and bobs, just a big bear hug from Mr Paul Jackson. If you should see me just come & say Hi. I call this discrimination against people who are extremely physically disabled. Esp no quiet place to sit & wait to see you! Oh yes, no parking whatsoever. So the Companion, who’s just had a Heart op, will have to push me from however far away we find to park, & leave any valuables in the Camper Van. If I didn’t want to see you so much it would be too much to bother. BTW I discovered you all through my Tom Petty mix on KZbin, one hit & I was hooked. Take care.
