I bought two of these. They arrived today. 3/9/23. Neither of them will charge. The battery light goes on while charging then goes off. On off on off then you go to use it Ana it only flys for 5 minutes and the battery is dead! I called them and they kept offering me discount after discount just to get me to keep them. Then they told me to mail them back at my own cost if I don’t want them. So they mail you drones that don’t work, try to discount them to try and get you to keep something that doesn’t work. It’s ridiculous!!!! Also, they come with no instructions! No videos on how to set them up or fly them! All in all for 70+ dollars per drone it’s a complete waste of money! DO NOT BUY THESE DRONES! Also, FYI a once they get enough people to complain about the blackbird drone, they will just start selling it under a different name and scam more people. I disputed the charge on my CC because I’m not paying $20 to mail back something that doesn’t even work and arrived broken!! DO NOT BUY THE BLACKBIRD 4K

Buy a FPV drone kit and build your own, it’s cheaper, fun and teaches you how to build drones/where the parts go/how they work/how to fix them in the future etc. it’s a fun hobby and easy. Can build a great FPV drone for cheap!

I just got a text from my ex girlfriend to order 2 for presents. I knew it was a scam as soon as I looked at the link. Thanks for posting this as it showed up on Google search! Been flying RC since 1974. You name it I have built and flown it. Been into quads to include DJI for several years. I know what this stuff costs. I guess I over paid for my Air 2S..Lol!

It is a lot safer and cheaper to buy directly from China like AliExpress or Banggood than from Amazon. I have seen a ot of scammers on Amazon. But if you want a DJI drone then a shop like you mentioned is perfectly fine. The price of DJI drones are almost the same everywhere.

I bought the Blackbird 4K on another site and it arrived quickly. However there are almost zero instructions on how to use it, and zero customer support. In my case my phone can’t see the Wifi signal. It’s not even clear how to install the batteries. I feel like I’ve been SCAMMED. Oh also their app had a registration pop up that I tapped on that required my credit card number to complete, even though the cost was $0.00. It said my card was invalid, but later that day I saw a $2.99 charge appear. So be VERY CAREFUL!

I believe my husband got scammed. He recently purchased four of the drones believing the description of the drones where good. Black bird 4k created a shipping label to have you believe that they are shipping your items. That is not happening. I guess I have to do the necessary steps in trying to find out if his bank account deducted the cost of the drones or any other money.

I ordered 1 I received it with them 3 days no problems Don't know where the scam came from but mine came from California Florida in 3 days And that was over a weekend So far no scamm. Look at all the videos of the people that have them when they were rating1 to the other and blackbird came out on top . Obviously If those dozen or so people that were rating the different drones and had them in their possession Were not scammed

Dammit! I wish I had done more research! I ordered two of these 😭. I did receive them but haven't even tried to use them but they look cheap as hell! Also in order to set it up you have to download an app Then it says in order to verify account enter credit card info!!!!! Uhm... No I will not be doing that and I am pretty sure they aren't going to let me return them or give me my money back 😭😭😭😭

Hi, Angelisa. I bought one of these for my 9-year-old grandson for Christmas and today he finally had a chance to fly it. You only need the wifi_cam app to use the camera, and I did NOT enable the camera because I was VERY leery of putting in my credit card info in the app. After seeing the video here, I am SO glad I didn't! That being said, once you charge the battery the drone flies pretty well and my grandson enjoyed it for the 9 minutes, as it advertised it was capable of. Still, I'm rather disappointed with the poor quality of the plastic and I am pretty irritated I spent over $100 for this piece of garbage--three crashes and a chunk of plastic has broken off--although it doesn't affect the flying. Not to mention how appalled I am regarding how this company has gotten away with the false marketing strategies (bait and switch tactics) it uses. I feel foolish I didn't do more research, as well. : / Just wanted to let you know you don't need the app to fly it. Hope you have a great 2023!

Now we will see if I actually get my money back ???? It has been 2 weeks since I mailed it via UPS but so far I have not heard from them but I assume it will take 4-6 weeks minimum considering the holidays but I hope I get my money back because the product definitely not worth the price! And certainly not what I expected based on advertising 😫👎👎👎👎 not to mention I bought these to give as gifts and I sure wasn't giving a gift that would require a damn credit card in order to use it. I wanted the recipients to be able to take pictures and cool videos but there isn't even an SD card. YOUR MEDIA IS STORED ON SOME WEBSITE somewhere in cyberspace! No thank you 👎😳 happy new year 🎊

If you want to see if its a scam, try and contact the customer service. One phone number was out of service. Another phone number was a greeting recorded on loop. NO live person. Email came back mailer deamon. The phone app only operated the still and vidoe cameras. Nothing elso worked on the phone.

It started out -- OK droners.... and explained my purchase experience. Mine wasn't a scam and I won't spend my time sharing my experience a second time as it was fairly lengthy and detailed..

I will leave it at this.: It was not the same item as ad and website describes (close but still not the same). The directions are crap and hard to figure out. the thing is difficult to control. two of them just went haywire on their own. Dont't buy these pieces of shitzky. I called and they offered 50% refund and keep them without return.

From what I've read, you might still get something in the mail, but it is likely to be smaller than expected and not the exact product that was shown and described. I hope everything turns out for the best.

It’s now going by Maji Air Drone, sold from a company started by two ex navy seals that got their hands on a drone patent that was from a drone being made for the US military that cost $5k but now you can get it for $138 and if you act now they’ll reduce it to $99 can you believe that!! It’s amazing, we can get a military grade tactical precision stealth $5k drone for only 100$, wow what a great group of ‘Mericans!! What a joke, the info you get as far as specifications are like “best battery life” “HD pics / vids” and other vague claims that give you zero info, like megapixels, Fps or battery mAH’s or WHr’s or any useful information, just sine cheap drone that should probably be sold for 35$ if it even works at all, doesn’t tell you anything about the RC range, just vague claims of its military grade excellence, or at least the grade of the patent that it’s supposedly designed to, or at least that’s what they are leading you to believe but everything is so vague you could never say that they make that claim, it’s just a story of a drones origin but not necessarily the drone they are selling you, they are very enticing but very careful in their wording, so yeah, SCAM! But who knows, might be worth a Hundo to some people, just don’t be disappointed that you can’t count on it for your special ops missions lol

What looks so good about another clone of hundreds of drones? At 99 dollars that's more than double the price of it's value and i bet 90 percent of people gunning for a 4k drone don't have anything to play 4k video on. Don't fool yourself. Build your own. The dji gimmick wears off REAL quick and it's a terrible way to start flying. Hell, if you don't have time to build your own, grab a TinyHawk 2 Freestyle and a headset. You'll make time.
