i love how "taking breaths" is too uncool for this guy, so he just sings a pitch on his inhalation. That way he doesn't have to stop singing to take a breath. AWESOME
@troygardner16102 жыл бұрын
Totally it's necessary on many forms of fully bully musicianship ...for "circular breathing" compare any trumpet player like "miles davis" vs Louis Armstrong ( chip monk cheeks fully inflated), or avant gaurd pipes/flutes like jaron lineard Any normal person can whistle inverted but not in same range of normal "out" breathing

Such a shame that there are those who only know Bobby from Don't Worry, Be Happy, and is a punchline for some kind of joke. He is impossibly talented.

I'd imagine from everything I've seen of Bobby McFerrin that he seems humble enough that he'd be glad that that's how he's known to people.

Expressed this same concept on Twitter moments ago - though I say it with no disrespect to "Don't Worry," which I love dearly.

James Mathew Davies that’s an opinion. Music is a large spectrum. I believe Jacob’s music is some of the best I’ve heard, I kinda have have to listen to a lot of music due to being a music student but Jacob’s is some of the best technically and emotionally for me. So it’s really an opinion. You can outright say it’s bad or good. It all comes done to preference.
